Have you come to a major crossroads in your life and find yourself wondering: where do I go from here? Or have you wanted to follow your true passions but didn’t know how to start or were afraid to?

Good!

I was there. What I did was a bit radical and forced me to break out of my comfort zone in a huge way. I had never been out of North America before, nor ridden any kind of motorbike – but I got on a scooter… and rode aroud the world!

I believe you’ll discover that the story of my experiences and hard-won lessons of life I learned can help you onto a path to a happier and more fulfilling life.

My two-year journey around the world on motorscooter Melawend to promote friendship and communication evolved into a profound education in the world, relationships and the self. It ran the gamut of human emotions and interactions. There were efforts that exceeded way beyond my hopes, and those that went nowhere – you can learn from them and apply them to your own life.

The journey required the need to develop WIN/WIN strategies. I learned how to overcome personal imitations (for example, shyness). I learned how to find and develop inner strengths (including focus, clarity, innovation, and willpower). I found that helping others get what they needed often led to me getting what I needed. Just one example was in securing sponsored onward passage by sea and air. I believe the many LESSONS OF LIFE that I learned along the way can help you move forward to create a happier and more fulfilling life – and you can apply these lessons anywhere you are!

IN THE LONG RUN: A Hopeful World Odyssey – the ebook! This is the full story of my two-year journey around the world on motorscooter Melawend – told candidly, as I would tell the story to a friend, in ways that might be helpful to him or her. Since 2000, I self-published and sold the hard copy edition – just a big, bulky, heavy 597-page Cerlox-bound book comprised of 8″ x 11″ pages. But I decided to discontinue it. I am currently putting the finishing formatting touches on it before converting it into the popular eBook platforms. Stay tuned for more!
IN THE LONG RUN: Stories Written From The Road – the ebook! This is a companion book to IN THE LONG RUN: A Hopeful World Odyssey. During my two-year journey, I wrote stories from the road for my hometown newspaper. Whereas the hometown audience had to wait for each installment, you get ALL the stories at once!
