A reader's gift:
A poem in tribute to the Odyssey story and to the spirit many of us share ...

Welcome, potential sponsor:
Amer.jpg (96842 bytes)

I'm gearing up for high growth in the coming year including extensive website development, community building, book endorsements, high-quality book production, and promotional tours.  Your company could benefit by joining in now.

First, explore the Odyssey website, bearing in mind the benefits to visitors, which you will see under Resources near the top of the home page, and the nature of the Odyssey story.  Determine if your company's presence in online and/or off-line Odyssey promotions might attract potential buyers to your company's goods or services.

The book is getting great reviews.  And word-of-mouth is growing.  Books that retain their content value, unique selling position, and timeless appeal are books that are also re-read and lent to others.  There is a good chance that IN THE LONG RUN will become a travel book classic.

To maintain complete control of marketing, promotion, and distriubution of the book, I also became its publisher.  As such, I will continue to aggressively market and promote this book likely for the rest of my life.   Compare that to the usual two or three months shelf life of new books.  So rest assured that your company's message in the book will be visible to a growing readership for many years to come.

So take advantage NOW, while advertising rates are low, by buying advertising space in the next photo-illustrated edition of the book - hardbound and softbound - at least 5,000 copies of each.

This book is going to be around a long, long time.  Remember, as demand for the book increases, so will the cost of advertising in future editions.

Contact me soon. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you to make your participation as a sponsor of the book appeal to your existing customers and target market.

For more information about Odyssey Communications' development plans and about benefit options to you as a sponsor, please contact me by e-mail:

tom@melawend.com

Please include your name, contact information and details about your company (including your company's website address).

And then let's talk!
